Important

After the Upholstery or Furniture has been evaluated to
determine the fiber type and content, general
condition,
visual defects or damage, color
fastness and best cleaning solution for soil removal.
 |
After determining the fiber type and content
whether it be cotton, a blend of cotton,
nylon, polyester, Silk, Rayon, Haitian cotton, a bleeder, large yarns or a
specialty fabric a solution is determined for best results. During this time
the experienced cleaner is familiar with certain problem fabrics and with the
assistance of the you the customer decide which cleaning method is best.

Preparing to clean your fabric the technician
will move any furniture away from the cleaning area to allow room and to allow
for better lighting. A six mil heavy duty sheet of plastic is placed on the
carpet or floor that is being used as the cleaning area. If the carpet is an
area carpet or rug it will be rolled up and set aside until all work is
completed.

The sofa or love seat is cleaned first
followed by the seat cushions and pillows. The same cleaning and restoration
procedure is used for all fabric to return the fabric to your
original colors.

All removable cushions are removed, vacuumed
and set aside for cleaning. The
upholstery sofa/love seat or chair is then vacuumed. A pre-spray solution is
applied, hand agitated and spots or stains treated. Extra attention is
always given to
certain problem areas or spot/stains. Some spot/stains may have become a
permanent part of the fiber usually with cottons, silks, rayon's and blended
fabrics.

The cleaning and extraction of the fabric is
accomplished with a portable upholstery cleaning machine. A rinse aid solution
is used as a cleaning aide to remove soil and the cleaning solution from the
fabric. Any remaining spot/stains will be treated again to remove or minimize
their appearance.

Spray-misting a light deodorant over this area
followed with a balancing agent and brightener. If a
deodorant spray is not wanted none will be used, even though our deodorants
are considered very user friendly they may bother you or a family member.

| You then have the Option of having us apply our
Excellent Teflon Fabric protector which would be applied
over the fabric over the
fabric to give maximum protection to the fabric allowing
for easier vacuuming and cleaning of any spots or spills.

The Hand grooming of the fiber surface using a
special furniture brush or fiber brush to
reset the fibers direction and to distribute the protector. |
